Symphony Framework Release Notes

Symphony Framework Version

The embedded resources have been corrected and will no longer cause your application to crash. This resulted when, for example, a file IO routine encountered a “File not found” exception. In a future release of the Symphony Framework you will be able to override the standard message resources with your own customer messages.

The Symphony_DataView and Symphony_DataView_WithGrid have been modified to accept a new User Token called DATABINDING. The default setting is MasterData but you can now override this by specifying the –ut DATABINDING user token.

The following templates now support Boolean fields. The field must be set to “Display as Checkbox” to enable the correct code to be generated. The templates utilise a structure that is now defined in the Data Object. This allow the passing of a “record area” to a class method argument when it contains .NET types.
